One Year Later, Biden Delivered Where Trump Failed: Infrastructure Law Rebuilding Missouri

One year ago today, President Biden and Democrats delivered what Donald Trump and his Republican Congress never could: a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s roads, bridges, railroads, ports, airports, water systems, and high-speed internet

Kansas City, Mo - Missouri Democratic Party Chair Michael Butler released the following statement on the one year anniversary of President Biden signing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill into law.
“While Donald Trump and his Republican Congress talked a big game about an infrastructure week that they ultimately failed to deliver, President Biden and Democrats have delivered an infrastructure decade – no thanks to Mike Parson, Eric Schmitt, Josh Hawley, Scott Fitzpatrick, Caleb Rowden, or Dean Plocher. Here in Missouri, we’re already starting to see progress on delivering safer roads, bridges, and drinking water, more affordable and accessible high-speed internet, good-paying jobs, and more — all because Biden succeeded where Trump failed.
While President Biden and Democrats’ leadership made the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law possible, every elected Congressional Republican voted against the law, which is already starting to benefit Missouri.
