The Missouri Democratic Party Building Blue Fellowship Program is seeking highly motivated Fellows to help ensure Democratic victories across the state. The Missouri Democratic Party’s grassroots infrastructure spans all corners of the state and is working to energize and empower local committees in urban, suburban, and rural Missouri in order to deliver Democratic victories up and down the ticket in 2020 and beyond!
The Fellowship position offers positions in Communications, Organizing, Data, Political, Digital, and Finance. Fellows will be trained by recognized leaders in the Missouri Democratic Party and will have several opportunities to meet elected officials across the state.
Applicants are encouraged to apply by May 1st, 2019 for the June-August 2019 Summer Fellowships. Fellowships will begin in June, 2019, and may last for between 2 – 6 months depending on the Fellows availability. Fellow applicants for the Fall Fellowship are encouraged to apply by July 1, 2019 for an August – December Fellowship.
Fellows can receive college credit if their university allows. Fellows are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours/week and will receive a $1,000/month stipend. Following the fellowship, Fellows will be equipped to significantly contribute to issue-based or political campaigns. Expenses incurred during training will be reimbursed.

Your day-to-day will consist of:
- Working closely with a Senior Staff member in your area of interest to master the skills of that kind of political and campaign work;
- Learning best practices for political campaigns;
- Collaborating on projects promoting progressive causes in Missouri;

Positions may be accepted if you are remote (not in St. Louis or Kansas City), however, preference is toward applicants in those areas.
